Time for some spring cleaning in the parenting department...

It's time for hubby and I to have to figure out a new plan for Levi. Boy, the oldest child really is kind of a guinea pig, huh? We've been cooped up all week since he and Jack are sick and between him feeling bad and cabin fever, I've had a chance to see a lot of behaviour "issues" that just have to go. I've been out of sorts this pregnancy and not sticking to our usual schedule. Plus there's been a considerable amount of...crankiness, let's call it...going around our house. So I know he's reacting to all that, but I'm at the end of my rope. It's time for a new plan!

My oldest 2 got in trouble yesterday and momma was not in a good mood so they were grounded.I must have been scary pregnant lady because they have been perfect sons today even with the extra work and loss of computer time.LOL

Sometimes us mommas just have to be a little tough:)

It never fails...whenever I marvel at how good my 4 year old is behaving and we lay off the disciplining ... he starts to misbehave! Then the spanking begins again...

I have enjoyed reading your posts!

Kimberky - Thanks for stopping by! I can really tell I haven't been on my A game lately, that's for sure:) We all fall into those ruts sometimes, huh?

Oh the joys of 4 year old boys....mine just turned 4 last week and boy has he been trying my patience.

I've found myself having to really calm down and work hard and being an understanding and good mommy....but there's times I want to spank him real good LOL

Just hang in there, it's normal and right now they're pushing for their independence and asserting themselves.....we'll all get through it LOL

Hugs,
Sandra

I haven't been by much this week becuase of all the morning (and evening and every time in between!) sickness. And also we got some upsetting news. But I soooo appreciate y'all stopping by. I'm trying to really concentrate on the positives - the baby is growing great and we should know (if he or she cooperates) on Friday whether he or she is a he or a she:)
Holly - Thank you so much for the prayers. I'm due on Sept 16, but will probably schedule the section for a week or two before that.
