The pouch

Here's me and Jack in his pouch - he fell asleep right after we took this picture. We love this pouch! But it's about time for something a little more summery - I'm thinking we might try a mei tai next. Posted by Picasa

Shannon, this is the kind I have and I LOVE it. I didn't feel like I had anything to offer on the forum discussion because I've only got one of these and never used any other kind.... :?

If you look at this one and have a question, I can answer it - like - YES I do wear my daughter facing out. I tuck the top edge under and she LOVES it!!! (She sits Indian style)

I'm on the fly - but am eager to come back and check out your blog!!!

Dawn- Definitley stop back by. That carrier is gorgeous! I looked around on the web at various patterns and I always like to get opinions before I start on one of my *projects* but I think I'm going to have to just make one and see what I think, kwim?

Oh Shannon, I should have been more explicit, LOL, I was assuming you were making your own. You're the creative type - unlike ME!! :)I was thinking that you could use that for a pattern - I love how mine works, right down to the straps - they're just right. BUT I didnt' know if they were padded or not padded or...what were the other questions you asked?? LOL

Well, so much for my thinking I'd get a few more minutes here this time, Miss Joy & Sunshine is SCREAMING (doesn't that sound like something someone called Joy & Sunshine would be doing?!!!)

I am especially eager to see what you list tomorrow! ;) I wish I were creative enough to have something to offer for a great Wed idea. :?

Talk soon! :@ Dawn

Shannon, you look lovely! and Jack is just too cute. :)

Thank you for the picture!

Sorry I've not been around much lately...we are in the process of selling our home, and life is crazy! I do well to visit our own blog. :)

It is good to catch up on you, though!

Dawn - I totally knew what you meant - no worries:) I actually did get mine made and tried it out today at the grocery store (I had the pouch for a backup!) - it worked great! And you are so sweet to call me creative - I mostly just copy other peoples' good ideas:>
Holly - I'm so glad you stopped by. I know you must be swamped! I've been thinking a lot the last few days that I really feel closer to y'all (all my blog sisters who I've never even really met!) than I do to some of the people I know in real life. Isn't that odd?

Thanks for the lovely compliment, too, Holly!

I think that's because here we can share heart to heart and "cut to the chase."

In real life, it takes us awhile to get to that stage, and...who has a lot of extra time? :)

I feel the same way you do!

And, I keep on tryin' in real life. :)

Ooooh, so post it, post it!! I'd love to see your new mei tai!!!!! : ) (We took ours out today. Didn't get quite as many goofy faces this time. Didn't go in the "trendy" stores with it either.)

Nothing exciting happening lately. I've just been letting everything happen without me lately. Basically nothing seems worth doing, but whatever. I've just been staying at home not getting anything done.
