Is it Wednesday already?

Well, then, I guess it's time for Works For Me Wednesday - the brainchild of the other Shannon.

My tip for this week is a super-easy way to clean my shower and glass door. You must be careful not to slip, but there aren't any toxic fumes:) I grab a magic eraser and some dishwashing liquid and hop in the shower. Soap scum comes off with so little scrubbing that I can just throw the sponge on the floor and use my foot to wipe it clean:) A good thing since my shower is so small there is no way to clean the floor while you're in there and I hate cleaning the shower fully clothed! You get all icky. This way I clean me and the shower at the same time:)

What a neat idea! I think we all need neat ways to clean the shower...I do NOT like to clean the bathroom! LOL

I clean my shower while I'm in there, too. Once fell backwards out the glass door trying to clean the floor. (Now there's a picture!) Great idea, thanks for sharing!

omigosh I never thought of this - my shower floor is textured, and I never feel like it's clean enough. I will definitely try this tip this week. Matter o' fact, methinks I hear walmart calling my name right now to go by the little erasers.

I forgot to mention that I usually cut the magic erasers in half to make them last longer! But it is so easyto clean with those things! They will take paint and wood stain OFF though!

I do this too because the steam helps to loosen up all the crap stuck on the tub. When I take a bath, I get to really working on it ;) My husband asked if I could just relax and enjoy my bath?? Um..I AM! :)

Thanks for sharing!

I am so glad to know I am not the only one who cleans my shower naked. Tee-hee. SO much easier that way!

Another use for those things! They should sell them in bulk. I never thought of using them on my textured bathtub...it takes forever to scrub it with regular cleaner. Thanks!

Thanks everyone for dropping by! Come on back anytime!

Shannon--this sounds like exactly what I need; I've been wondering how to get my glass door REALLY clean.

I need a breakdown, though: what do you do with the dish soap? Can you give me a play-by-play about how you use that with the Eraser?

I just put a little soap on the sponge and start scrubbing. If you've got a lot of soap scum, you'll need to rinse pretty often. IT does the glass nice and sparkly:) ANother thing that will keep the shower door clean is to keep a squeege in the shower and run it over the door real quick after your shower. If you do it everytime you'll hardly ever have to clean the door. Can y'all tell what my least favorite chore is? :)
